Community in Crisis - Black Women & Fibroids
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Silicon Valley Chapter and Melissa Muganzo Murphy, M.A., CPS Presents:
This webinar targets the need for Black reproductive justice while highlighting the silent traumas that Black birthing people experience. These traumas include fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, miscarriages and hysterectomies. It will unpack the history of medical racism in the medical field and it's generational impact of Black reproductive rights and patient care.

Afro Hip Hop Dance
Are you ready for some high-energy dance? The Living Legend is returning to the University Union Ballroom in celebration of Black History Month, to teach an Afro Hip-Hop dance class with music from Wizkid and Tems.
The Living Legend, also known as Melissa Muganzo, is the CEO of Muganzo Entertainment LLC, Sacramento’s first Black/Queer entertainment production company. With a diverse performance background in dance, music, public speaking, production and acting, the Living Legend seeks to advance Black visibility through authentic on-screen and on-air storytelling and performing arts.
Melissa will teach the group easy to follow dance moves in this 90-minute class.

Shuga Cain of RuPaul’s Drag Race
UNIQUE Programs is eager to welcome back the drag performer, Shuga Cain, for a sweet performance on Thursday, November 4 at 7 p.m. in the University Union Ballroom. Shuga Cain is a drag queen who rose to national recognition when cast on season 11 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. The Living Legend will be making a guest appearance as an opening act for this performance.
